Project 7: Continuous Line Drawings

For this challenge, you may only use one line to create an image.  It can cross over itself, change forms (thick to thin, etc.) but your pencil may not leave your paper until the image is complete.

Project 6: Doodles Upon Doodles

We all doodle....but this project needs you to doodle on top of your doodles! You could do a tissue / velum overlay....washy doodle with doodles over it...or however you can imagine it!

It was an extremely blustery, March day and as I sat watching the wind blow the trees and the clouds scudding by I grabbed what I had on hand and double-doodled this.

Project 5: Old Made New

Put a well known work of art in a modern day context

Matisse is my fav. artist...and I have always loved Egyptian Curtain(pictured on the left).  Here is my take on on the work.  I used Colored Pencils & Water Color Pencils
by Ted Edinger

This painting, La Vie, by Picasso, was the 1st painting I actually "connected" with at the National Gallery way back in high school, I have spent many hours with this painting, it is probably my #1 favorite. I used marker and did a very literal interpretation.

Soup Cans by Andy Warhol was the inspiration for this piece.
